As children, there is nothing more exciting than the opening of an enchanting present. At a certain point in life, though, the greatest treasures become shared experiences and memories.
Each year, Carnegie Mellon receives contributions from those who want to honor such connections. These gifts might:
- Commemorate a special occasion, like a birthday or anniversary
- Remember a loved one for whom CMU or education was important
- Honor an influential professor or mentor
- Recognize the significance of the Carnegie Mellon educational experience
- Cement a legacy of values passed from one generation to another
The gift represents the special connection between the person making it and the person being recognized. Carnegie Mellon is honored to serve as the safekeeper to hold such treasured memories.
